Apple Tower Theatre opened June 25th, 2021, returning the historic 1927 theatre to the downtown Los Angeles community. One of Apple’s most significant restoration projects to date, Apple Tower Theatre debuts as a fully renovated place for gathering, learning and exploring Apple’s latest product line-up.
Apple also launched Today at Apple Creative Studios, a global initiative that provides hands-on experiences and mentorship to young creatives, kicking off with the opening of the new store in Los Angeles.
Apple Tower Theatre is a new Apple Store designed by UK studio Foster + Partners inside an abandoned 1920s movie theatre in Downtown Los Angeles. Foster + Partners worked with the technology company to renovate the historic building, which was originally designed by American architect S Charles Lee in 1927 in the baroque revival style.
At the intersection of Eighth Street and Broadway, Tower Theatre was the first theatre in Los Angeles to be wired for showing motion pictures with sound , but it had been shuttered since 1988. Apple and Foster + Partners undertook the renovation in a collaboration with the City of Los Angeles and expert preservationists.

Don't forget Studio Proper is a Authorised Apple Reseller, and market leading design company of a huge range of accessories for Apple devices, from personal to business use!
Our Apple Store might not be baroque revival style, but it has all the best and latest from Apple in one place.
